■活用形を混同しやすいもの
1：fall、fell
　　・fall（倒れる）－fell－fallen
　　・fell（倒す）－felled－felled
　　eg) Some trees need to be felled in order to maintain the forest's vitality.
　　　　　（森の生気を保つために数本の木は切り倒さなければならない）　　

2：find、found
　　・find（見つける）－found－found
　　・found（設立する）－founded－founded
　　eg) Our school was founded in 1900.
　　　　　（我々の学校は1900年に創立された）　

3：fly、flow
　　・fly（飛ぶ）－flew－flown
　　・flow（流れる）－flowed－flowed
　　eg) Goods flowed into the country.
　　　　　（商品がどんどん国内へ流れた）　

4：lie、lay
　　・lie（横たわる）－lay－lain
　　・lay（横たえる）－laid－laid
　　eg) Lay your gloves in the drawer.
　　　　　（手袋は引き出しにしまっておきなさい）　

5：see、saw
　　・see（見る）－saw－seen
　　・saw（のこぎりで切る）－sawed－sawn
　　eg) Please saw branches off the tree.
　　　　　（木から枝をのこぎりで切り落としてください）　

6：wind、wound
　　・wind（巻く）－wound－wound
　　・wound（傷つける）－wounded－wounded
　　eg) He was badly wounded in the fight.
　　　　　（彼は戦いでひどい傷を負った）
